It is assumed that V/BOSS has been installed on your system via the directions that were included with your package. We refer to your hard drive as the C: drive. If V/BOSS is installed on a drive other than C:, please substitute that drive designation in place of C:.

If you do forget your password, another provider with the proper security level will need to delete your Provider Code and then add it back in. You may then log in as if it were the first time. Whatever you enter at that time will be your password.
6. After your correct password is entered, the V/BOSS Main Selection Menu is displayed.
7. If you must leave the work station unattended during the day, you should Log off by pressing [U] from the Main Menu.
The tutorial consists of instructional "windows" that will display on some screens where you need to enter information. These "windows" will tell you what information is needed and often shows the format to use. We recommend that you use the tutorial while you are getting familiar with your system and to aid in training new staff members. The tutorial may be activated and deactivated ONLY from menus where it is listed as an option. Functions performed while the tutorial is activated are "real", that is, a Client registered with the tutorial on is really registered when you finish. It is not just for "play". The tutorial is activated by simultaneously holding down <Shift> and pressing <Fl>. It is deactivated by repeating the steps, hold down <Shift> and press <Fl>. Again, you must be at a menu which shows TOGGLE TUTORIAL <Sh>-<Fl> as a choice.
Most functions you can perform are documented with "On-Line Help." To start Help, press [?]. V/BOSS will re-display the menu, and "***ON-LINE HELP***===>" will be seen in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. You may now select the topic for which you wish help by entering the corresponding character from the menu. To exit from the Help feature press <Esc>.
